The German military pastor Stephan Bauhofer has organised a time out seminar in Diakonie Kosova.The German KFOR soldiers wanted to learn traditional Kosovarian food.We taught them Byrek , Tave (kind of stew), Gurabia (cookies) and Leqenik (corn bread).All the dishes have been delicious and the whole group had a great day, visiting our farm, and the youth center. Christmas-market in Diakonie Kosova.Since years we organise a Christmas market at our premises. It is a tradition now.Together with the German Ambassador, Mr.Jörn Rohde, we opened the market. We had Glühwein (red hot wine), waffles, sausages and anyone could buy many of our products.The dancing crew “Shqipet e Vogla” showed many great performace.
A visit from friends
On 21 of Nov we had a visit of some friends from Germany. Together with Marco Bünger and Tino Winkelmann (Adler management) came visitors from the state of Brandenburg and different Hospitals and nursing home. For every student that goes from Kosovo to Germany to learn to be a nurse Adler management is donating 300 € to Diakonie Kosova. This year we got 5.700 €.…
Christmas Market – Film City KFOR Camp
In the heart of Prishtina in Film City the camp for the Kosovo Force soldiers (KFOR). Every German speaking contigent (Germans, Austrians,Swiss) one Christmas market.
